Meet Cheri Cochran

Hi! I’m Cheri and I love to help people speak from the heart, listen to the heart, and live from the heart!

We all have a deep need to communicate and connect—to feel heard by and to hear the heart of God and other people. It is only from the deep place of the heart (or soul) that we can experience the meaningful connection that every person craves.

That’s why I am passionate about helping ministry leaders, pastors, speakers, writers, and others develop their unique speaking voice so that they can communicate their messages, vision, and heart more confidently and connect more effectively.

It is why I love to coach and to create space for people to be present and attentive to the voice of God amid the demands of everyday life. We all need a safe and confidential place to talk and care for our souls—a place of companionship that inspires hope and faith for the future.

It is why I speak about the kindness of God, sharing His invitation to come nearer and hear His heart of love.

I find myself at this intersection of practical communication training and spiritual encouragement/soul care after 20 years of consulting in the corporate sector and over 30 years in ministry. I’ve helped hundreds of professionals and pastors with their speaking and communication, written curriculum and devotionals, developed training programs, preached, taught, facilitated, and emceed. I’ve led alongside my husband as a campus pastor and in worship ministry. I am training to be a Spiritual Director. My personal story is marked with highs and lows, miracles, burnout, difficulty, and restoration. I have experienced God’s grace and faithfulness in deeply personal ways. I’ve found that my experience enables me to help others with the unique dynamics of professional and ministry life.

Above all else, my desire is to inspire, encourage, and equip people to connect with God and people from a whole heart, living with real hope and joy in Him.

Some other things about me: I was born and raised in Canada, which is why I have a bad habit of apologizing too much (sorry about that). My amazing husband Randy and I have been married for over 30 years and we love each other more than ever. I absolutely adore our two adult children, Drew and Lindsay, and am the proudest mother-in-law ever to Mateo. I have always had naturally red hair until the last few years when it has become less-naturally red. I love laughing, football, Marvel movies, nature, reading, and the ocean.

I would love to hear more about you!
