About Me

Hi! I’m Cheri, and I’m passionate about inspiring wholehearted connection—helping people deeply connect to God, themselves, and others with their whole, authentic selves!

Every person has a fundamental need to communicate and connect authentically—to feel truly heard and to understand the heart of God, themselves, and others. It’s only when we experience deep, secure connection that we can wholeheartedly respond to the invitation to become healthy and wholehearted people in our daily life, work, and relationships.

That’s why I’m passionate about equipping pastors and ministry leaders to communicate more effectively and authentically, helping them connect deeply with God and their communities while offering confidential spiritual direction and pastoral support that sustains their calling and renews their hope.

After 20 years in consulting and over 30 years in ministry, I bring together speaker coaching, strategic ministry support, and spiritual encouragement. As a speaking coach, former executive pastor, and spiritual director, I’ve helped hundreds of pastors and professionals discover more authentic, wholehearted ways of connecting, from the platform to their teams. while cultivating both interpersonal skills, spiritual discernment, and a more intimate experience of God.

My personal story includes highs and lows, miracles, burnout, and restoration. I’ve experienced God’s grace and faithfulness in deeply personal ways, and that journey shapes how I come alongside others navigating ministry and life. As a fellow traveler in life and ministry with Jesus, I’d love to walk with you and share the hope and encouragement He’s offered that have carried me through.

My heart is to inspire and equip people to connect wholeheartedly with God, themselves, and others as we all learn to receive and reflect the spirit of Jesus right where we are.

More about me: I was born and raised in Canada, which is why I apologize too much (sorry). My husband Randy and I have been married for over 30 years and love each other more than ever. I adore our two adult children and their amazing spouses, and we’re excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild in fall 2025! And yes, I have always had naturally red hair until the last few years, when it has become not-naturally red. I love laughing (ahem, wheezing), football, music, reading, exploring nature, and the ocean.
